How to Make a Perfect Acai Bowl (Raw, Vegan, GF, Sugar-free)

Acai All Day Every Day 💃🏻

Acai bowl has long been my favorite food on earth! I can eat it everyday, for every meal. And my addiction to Acai bowl is so serious that I might accept someone’s proposal if he brings me an acai bowl instead of a ring. 😆

Nutritious Dessert

Haha! This is my kind of comfort food as it tastes SO GOOD! For those who have a sweet tooth and found it hard to stop the crave for those unhealthy sugary desserts, try making this at home and you will never need any unhealthy dessert in your life. This bowl consists of superfood such as chia seeds, goji berries, lucuma and of course acai powder. You can also add a handful of baby spinach if you wish to make it even healthier.

I also have other healthy and decadent desserts on my blog if you like sweets 🍬

Lucuma

I have updated this recipe as I found that adding lucuma makes this bowl 10 times better, although the original recipe is already pretty good. 😉I bought fresh ones in the market and freeze it the night before, but you can use lucuma powder if you can’t find the fresh ones.

Lucuma is very high in nutrition. It contains beta-carotene, vitamin B3, iron, zinc, calcium, magnesium. Most importantly, it is also contains protein, antioxidants, and dietary fiber. If you haven’t tried lucuma before, it has a subtle caramel flavor and a texture resembling avocado. Doesn’t it sound like the best thing ever? 😍

Deluxe Acai Bowl

In the recipe, I have included my basic acai bowl, as well as the “deluxe” version if you fancy something extra!
